Joe began his professional career as a successful accountant and analyst. He then parlayed his numerical discipline and his people skills to the world of marketing and advertising for the next 20 years. Joe began his marketing/advertising career on the client side as the Manager of Strategic Planning and Research within the Marketing Department of Hardee’s Food Systems. This training provided him with the skills he needed to manage the integration of Carl’s Jr. and to rollout of the Star Hardee’s concept across the Midwest region. Joe has been with Stern Advertising for 11 years and leads the McDonald’s account team which handles eight Co-ops and over 700 restaurants. He is a member of McDonald’s National Local Agency Roundtable. Joe is a graduate of Wheaton College, with a B. S. degree in economics.
